The Elms Studio

We recycle glass, paper, card and most recyclable food packaging. The studio benefits from solar hot water. All light bulbs are low energy and appliances are A rated for energy efficiency where possible. Water consumption is minimised with a dual flush toilet. We use environmentally friendly cleaning products (mostly Ecover) where possible. We recommend local food and transport, and deliveries of locally grown organic fruit and vegetables can be arranged. A good eating file is kept for guests highlighting local pubs and restaurants. Timetables and leaflets are provided for boat trips and ferries including the solar powered water tour boat (Chichester Harbour). Enjoying nature – books and guides are provided for bird watchers, walkers and nature lovers.
